Profile KOMPIP 

KOMPIP is founded at year 2001 as registered at Sunarto, SH Law Firm Office No. 14, April, 4th 2001. KOMPIP promotes good governance, clean government, deepening democracy and deepening democracy. KOMPIP sees that strengthening civil society becomes core for strategy in improving quality of life.

Since its founding KOMPIP has been supported by Ford Foundation. Since year 2006 KOMPIP is also supported by ITPI-NOVIB for program improving education and health services at Surakarta. In year 2006 KOMPIP also handled several activities of LGSP-USAID to disseminate regulations on participatory planning.

At May 27, 2006 earth quake hits Jogjakarta and Central Java Provinces. KOMPIP takes part at humanitarian assistance in there by sending 1127 volunteers. As response to this Humanitarian Assistance mission KOMPIP shape Desk Humanitarian Assistance. By today this desk has been supported by Ford Foundation, ATLAS disable international, IOM (International Organization for Migration), Samdhana Fondation, Real Medicine Foundation, GTZ RED, Hands on Disaster Relief and CARE Indonesia. read more >>
